Going From Strength To Strength

Over the past year I have gradually put together a £1,000,000 portfolio. It is not by accident that it is a balanced, geographically diverse spread of buy-to-let and holiday properties at different price points… property that is strong on fundamentals in proven areas with low risk. One year on and the initial investments are rising from the soil. Bought at a discount, but are those market values genuine or pie in the sky? I’ve not been sitting back, been to Florida and Portugal… I’ve talked to estate agents in Stoke and Glasgow… The foundations are going down in Gainsborough, my agent is already selected and I know we are 20% up before a brick is laid.. Diverse Portfolio

…The ease with which this property had been purchased with the support of IAP encouraged me to make more off-plan property purchases. One apartment is Spain and two apartments in the exciting Avalon Resort development in Lake Austin, a short distance from the Disney complex in Florida. The properties had a total value of approximately £500,000 and this portfolio will have grown in value by about £100,000 by the end of 2005 due to the buoyant property markets in the areas concerned. Building A Successful Portfolio

I first started property investing during the year 1995. I must admit I went into it blindly. The problems caused both by tenants and what turned out to be a rogue letting agency gave me undue stress levels. I therefore made the mistake of selling the property. If I were to put a similar property in that location on the market today I would be making £500,000 profit. Unfortunately this knocked my confidence until this year, when I was introduced to the Instant Access Group and with their help and little time I now have a property portfolio worth over £2 million and I hope to double that within the year.
